Hello friends

I really like the idea of having a place to write my observations about movies if people care to read them. But mainly I want to have some approximation of the excited conversations in the lobby after the movies we show every Wednesday night. If you attend Weird Wednesdays or wish you could, think of this space as a forum for sharing your thoughts about the movies as well.

I have previously kept a myspace blog going but as myspace has submerged farther and farther into the mire of smileys I've noticed the readership becoming more erratic. So I hope everyone will subscribe and participate here.

Ooh! The layout is so clean and...bathroomlike.

I want to pee in your blog -- and I mean that in the best possible way.

I'm actually really excited about this. I can centralize all my "what do you think about..." or "have you seen..." questions, and not pester you at the screenings I'm able to attend.

The first one: Have you seen Portabella's Cuadecuc-Vampir?

I can't wait for 99 Women and Maria Rohm on the big screen!

Z - I've only read about the Portabella movie in Phil Hardy's Overlook Encyclopedia. I don't much care for Franco's Dracula but I'd love to see the Portabella film. I'll trade you something for it.

Well I too have followed you here. I actually created a Google Reader to help manage yours and other RSS feeds I'm subscribed to.

In something completely unrelated, do you know or can you find out what the song is that has played during the past two Alamo Promo reels?

I believe the song you're asking about is "The Crystal Cat" by Dan Deacon.

Oh my lord, thank you. Not knowing me has been bugging me for a while.

I used to recognize all the songs used in Alamo promos.

My finger used to be on the pulse!

What happened finger? What happened pulse?

You two need to work that shit out.
